Creating Your Twilio Account

Step 1: Sign Up for a New Twilio Account

Go to the Twilio sign-up page.

Enter your details to create an account:

• Name

• Email address

• Password

Verify your email address by clicking the link in the verification email that Twilio sends.

To activate the account for use, you must provide and verify your personal phone number. Twilio will send a verification code to this number, which you will enter on the website.

After verification, you’ll be redirected to the Twilio Console.

Step 2: Log In to an Existing Account

If you already have a Twilio account:

Go to the Twilio login page.

Enter your email and password.

Once authenticated, you will be directed to the Twilio Console Dashboard.

Step 3: Upgrade & Verify Your Account

Twilio trial accounts are limited. To use Twilio fully with Call Agent AI, you must upgrade and verify your account.

Log in to your Twilio account at console.twilio.com.

Click Upgrade at the top of the screen.

Enter:

• Legal first and last name

• Phone number

Select your ID country and upload a government-issued ID.

Choose your identity type (Business or Individual).

Enter Business or Home Address information based on your chosen Identity type and click Continue to move on to Billing details.

Step 4: Address & Tax Information

In the Main Address section, select the country where you will consume Twilio services. This information will be used for taxation purposes. When you finish adding your address, click on Continue, which will take you to the next page.

On the Tax Information page, you can enter your Tax Number. Twilio may need to collect tax on the services sold to abide by local laws.

• Please provide your tax number so that we can apply this correctly to your invoice.

• If you are a private individual, not a company, you can select "No, I cannot provide a tax number". Click on Continue when ready.

Step 5: Fund Your Account

1. Choose an initial balance amount

3. Enable Auto Recharge (strongly recommended)

Why Auto Recharge Matters Enable the Auto Recharge checkbox to automatically charge your payment source and refill your project balance when it falls below the specified amount. Disabling this option allows your project to hit zero (or negative) balance, and would require you to manually add funds to prevent account suspension.

Step 6: Add a Payment Method

1. Select your payment method (Card or PayPal)

2. Confirm billing address

3. Click Confirm Payment

Select your desired payment method to charge your account.

If your billing address matches your main address, leave the "Yes, my billing address is the same" selected; if not, unselect it and enter the address of your card.

Click Confirm Payment

Your Twilio account is now fully upgraded and ready.
